RESCHEDULED Pond Skim

For the BONUS closing day, April 14, we will once again replace the Lower Terrain Park with a pond skim! The Pond Skim will be held approximately 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.

To spectate, ski down to Peacemaker, or walk uphill from the Base Lodge to the pond skim location. To participate in the event, you must register on Webscorer using the link below and sign a digital waiver. This is one of our most popular events of the year, and signups will fill up quickly! Registration is $30, there are 75 spots available, and registration opens March 30 at 10:00 a.m. All registrants receive a 2024 Pond Skim t-shirt with their registration fee (we will do our best to accommodate t-shirt sizing requests but all are first-come-first-serve). 

Participants must be 8 or older, and must complete the digital waiver on Webscorer during registration. Ages 8-17 must have the signature of a parent or guardian.

Participants must have a Season Pass or Day Ticket.

Participants must wear a helmet.

Participants must wear silly outfits. Not really, but costumes are highly encouraged. 

On the day of, participants need to check-in for the event at Guest Services between 8:30-12:00, and form a line at the top of the lower Peace Park (Pond Skim drop-in) at 1:00. Our staff will send participants one at a time through the pond. Carry speed to make it across! If you do not clear the pond, remove your skis or board in the water and exit on the side of the pond to avoid puncturing the pond liner – staff can assist you in exiting the water if needed. This event typically lasts about two hours and participants usually get multiple attempts through the pond while the water level holds.
