Do you know your Responsibility Code?
January is the National Ski Area Association's Safety Month and together with Colorado Ski Country USA we are putting safety first. Bring Your Responsibility Code knowledge up to the mountain, Saturday, January 25, for a chance to win a Powderhorn Swag Bag. Make sure and stop at all five locations and recite one of the 10 points on the Responsibility Code to receive a playing card, stop at all five and try your luck at the best Poker Hand on the Mountain. The highest ranked hand at the end of the day wins, if there are multiple winning hands, we will do a random draw for the Swag Bag. This event is free to participate in.
12:00-3:00
Cards must be handed in by 3pm (sheet with hands and names/contacts)
5 Stops – can be completed in any order:
1. Ticket Office: Recite one of the 10 Points of NSAA’s Your Responsibility Code to receive your first card!
2. Bottom of EZ Rider Lift: Brighten a lifties day with a fun joke – 2nd card
3. Patrol Shack at the top of the Flat Top: Recite one of the 10 Points of NSAA’s Your Responsibility Code – 3rd card
4. Ski and Ride Desk: Recite one of the 10 Points of NSAA’s Your Responsibility Code – 4th card
5. Rental: Recite one of the 10 Points of NSAA’s Your Responsibility Code for your last card – 5th card
All cards must be turned into the Guest Service Desk by 3:00pm.
The Poker Hands, ranked, is as follows: Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight. If no one collects any of these higher ranked hands, we will move to the lower ones to find a winner.
Prizes and winners will be announced at 4:30pm at the Sunset Grill with music by Zac Grant 2:30pm-5:30pm
