Join us for a wonderful outdoor experience at Powderhorn Mountain Resort’s Hike with a Naturalist program (This name can be changed)! Running every second Saturday from July 12th through September 13th, this two-hour guided hike offers a deeper connection to the natural beauty of the Grand Mesa.

This program begins with a scenic lift ride on The Flat Top Flyer to the top of Powderhorn, included in the price. From there, explore the vibrant living landscape on foot alongside a knowledgeable naturalist. You'll learn about the unique geology of the Grand Mesa, identify wildflowers and native plants, potentially see wildlife, and gain a greater appreciation for our forested backyard.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced hiker, this program offers something for everyone. Come prepared for fresh mountain air and stunning views.

Please bring water, snacks, sunscreen, hiking shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing.

While this may not be incredibly strenuous, we do expect guests to be able to hike moderately difficult high-elevation terrain for short distances to participate in this program.

Please check-in 15 minutes before the hike at the Powderhorn Rental Shop.
