Powderhorn Mountain Resort is honored to be the winter home of Colorado Discover Ability (CDA), a premier organization dedicated to providing adaptive sports opportunities for individuals with disabilities. In collaboration with Powderhorn, CDA offers tailored ski, snowboard, and ski bike lessons that cater to people of all abilities, ensuring everyone can experience the thrill of the mountains. 

Whether you're looking for one-on-one lessons, family sessions, or group lessons for organizations that work with individuals with disabilities, CDA provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Their experienced instructors, many of whom are certified by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI), are specially trained to support individuals with a wide range of disabilities. These instructors are committed to creating an adaptive experience that is safe, fun, and educational, tailored to each participant's unique needs. 

CDA's mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to lead active, healthy lives by providing access to adaptive recreation and the therapeutic benefits of sports. Powderhorn and CDA work together to break down barriers and make skiing and snowboarding accessible to everyone, from first-timers to experienced athletes.
