When it comes enjoying the slopes, age is just a number. The Young at Heart ski program is specifically designed for skiers aged 50 and over. This exciting program invites mature skiers to join us every Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a lunch break from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM, followed by a fun après-ski social gathering.

The Young at Heart program is tailored to intermediate and advanced skiers who are confident in their abilities and enjoy the camaraderie of a group. Participants are divided into smaller groups based on ability level, ensuring a more personalized experience. Each group is led by an experienced guide who not only ensures safety but also shares local mountain knowledge, tips, and techniques to help you take your skiing to the next level. Whether you're carving groomers or exploring more challenging terrain, you'll be supported by a friendly guide who knows how to make the experience both fun and rewarding. 

To make the experience even better, we'll finish each day with an après-ski gathering where you can share stories of the day and enjoy drinks with fellow participants. It's the perfect way to celebrate another great day of skiing at Powderhorn. 

The program is designed with safety and enjoyment in mind, and participants must be able to ski at an intermediate or advanced level, capable of skiing safely and in control at all times. We encourage you to enjoy the day at your pace, connect with fellow snow lovers, and embrace the mountain with confidence. For those who may not feel ready for a group guided session, the Powderhorn Ski & Ride Center offers specialized lessons for all ages and skill levels, tailored to suit your needs and comfort level.
