Whether you're a BBQ enthusiast or simply looking for a unique dining experience, this event promises to delight every palate.
Menu
Course #1 Grilled Pear Salad. A unique starter that combines succulent grilled pears with creamy whipped goat cheese, sweet cranberries, and crunchy walnuts. Resting on a bed of fresh microgreens and drizzled with locally sourced honey from McLean Farms in Palisade, this dish is a perfect balance of sweetness and savory flavors.
Course #2 Slaw Four Ways. Enjoy BBQ-inspired slaws to complement the main course. We’re serving fennel slaw, pickle slaw, spicy slaw, and a festive red, white, and blueberry slaw. Each slaw adds a vibrant touch to the meal and enhances the BBQ flavors. These slaws will be paired with carefully crafted cocktails from Peach Street Distillery and refreshing brews from Ska Brewing, elevating the entire dining experience.
Course #3 Award-Winning Baby Back Ribs. A Powderhorn classic that has earned top honors at the Fruita Fall Festival, Cars & BBQ, and the Grand Junction Arbor Festival BBQ Challenge. Alongside these tender, smoky ribs, we’re serving Texas-style smoked brisket and Louisiana-style marinated Cajun sausage. Each dish is accompanied by a trio of in-house sauces and rubs, including a Kansas City-style stout beer BBQ sauce, Carolina-style peach mustard sauce, and a tangy Louisiana-style vinegar sauce. The Memphis-style dry rub rounds out this flavorful BBQ feast, capturing the essence of the best BBQ regions in the U.S.
Course #4 Dutch Oven Palisade Peach Cobbler. Made with the finest Palisade peaches, this dessert is topped with a buttery, golden-brown crust and served with a blackberry coulis flavored with black currant juice and rosemary.
